Woe is me . . . the blog pics are ancient and unsightly. -_-;;; As much as I like Meia, I REALLY can't look at this layout anymore. -_-;; BTW, does the woman in Blue Gender look like a blonde Meia? I saw the DVD coverart in Suncoast today. O_O I picked up DVD volume 2 of Boogiepop Phantom. :) My brother and I were looking forward to the director's commentary track the most XD But Crispin was talking and talking and then there was MASSIVE spoilerage, so we started freaking out and stopped it. ^^;;;;
Since we can't remember anybody's name except Nagi Kimura, Toka (last name?), and Saotome, we've only managed to confuse ourselves more. I think. -_-;
The world is a funny, Fruits Baskety place XD
Um, yeah. And I promised to abide by mother-imposed 2 AM curfew (ehh, more or less) so e-mails, bloggage, and other stuff tomorrow. Writing too! It's ceased being crap for the most part and I kind of feel like finishing *something*. >_<
Ahhh. Now dl pictures off the camera. And sleep or something? Ew, Merr, where ARE you?

Of all things!
My birthday was sort of blah. Tho' someone from High School called me after e-mailing me out of the blue, and I am now debating whether or not it was a smart decision to reconnect myself with the past that I've pretty ruthlessly cut myself off from. Hmmm. Doesn't help that I heard some pretty disturbing stuff about what a great many people from high school have been up to, including my . . . former, current (in a "I will always think about you - can't help it - I'm pathetic - but I am actually over you for the most part" sort of way), and (hopefully not) future obsession. I REALLY need to get over it. And not come up with weird, half-baked story ideas and FRIGHTENINGLY vivid characters because of it. >_< UGH. Anyways, everything has been uneventful. Watching lots of Slam Dunk! (which, btw, gets interesting after about the 12th episode but DOES eventually, Gina-P ^^;;;) as you can see and trying to get over BLAHNESS and complete suckiness of writing. I am feeling a bit more capable right now *knocks on wood* so we'll see. Also, my dad's still here so there's been the daily fight for the computer. ;_; Oh! Got a digital camera for my birthday. Canon s2000 or something. It's okay. I wanna see if I can use it as a replacement for my scanner for the moment so I can actually get to work on my webcomic. *Sigh* And I've been reading . . . stuff. ^^;;;
Erm, not much else going on right now. Post later when there is. And must reply to e-mail when my dad's not about to kick me off the computer. ;_;

Inflicting more tests on the masses
Mou, my dreams are on CRACK! >_< Basically Sorata was working for Seishirou who shows him this picture of this girl (Endless Waltz influence, methinks) who is his and Arashi's lovechild from a long time ago. o_O Um, yeah. And then Sorata, Yuzuriha, and I think it was Karen(?) saw Seishirou and Arashi share some kind of special moment at the lake and kiss each other. >_< So Sorata gives up on Arashi or something. -_- And I'm skipping the really crazy and totally out there bits, but basically it turns out that the whole Sorata and Arashi break-up thing and Arashi and Seishirou togetherness thing was just a ploy. Because, as the narration in my dream said: "There are many ways to kill the red dragon but all of them are difficult." And then it said something about using toadwart or killing toads that I can't remember? Anyways, there's this shot of a bunch of Angels and Seals passed out in this doorway and injured: Yuuto (clothes have holes blown in them - possibly caused by bullets or wind), Arashi (passed out), Seishirou (I think the implication here is that Subaru died instead o_O - anyways, the Sakurazukamori is lying in a large puddle of blood but is alive), Sorata (passed out), Yuzuriha (passed out with her arms wrapped around Inuki). And slumped over a desk, dead and bleeding is Hinoto (the implied red dragon) and it was HINOTO who was Seishirou and Arashi's lovechild. >_< Okay, so then Sorata and Arashi wake up and embrace now that everyone's succeeded in killing Hinoto and the whole time my mind is screaming, this is SO WRONG! First of all, Hinoto is like a hundred years older than Arashi - okay, fine, at least a bit - and she may or may not be older than Seishirou and what the hell?! Arashi and Seishirou have a LOVECHILD??! And while Seishirou might not give a damn about killing his own kid, I don't think Arashi would be so willing to do it??? (This is the first time I can remember knowing for a fact that something is just OFF about the reality in my dream WHILE dreaming . . .) There was more to the dream but that was just more extremely random and nonsensical stuff and nothing compared to the aforementioned INSANE workings of my subconscious.
SO disturbed.
Figures I'd be him. I *HATE* Nakago. >_< Words were carved in stone on Thursday, June 20, 2002: 12:39 a.m.
Also got Kyou-kun! ^_^ *high-fives Merritt* Omae wa dochira
juunishi no MEMBAA desu ka? Hmm, today was spent mostly at the mall and at home. Finally used the gift certificate for Suncoast which I got with my phone plan and got the Endless Waltz DVD (which my brother has to pay for since he was supposed to buy it for me LAST year - I just NEEDED to see the movie edition for the Hilde scene . . . and the Dorothy scene with the trucks was HILARIOUS o_O) and the first Boogiepop Phantom DVD. ^_^ (They didn't have the second one.) I spent SOOOOO much time deliberating on what to get but couldn't really find anything. I wanted to get the first two volumes of Nadia or Arc the Lad but they're SOOOO long and I don't have enough funds to afford the whole series. *cries* So, the remaining money on the gift certificate will go to the second volume of Boogiepop if they have it in stock the next time we go. ^^;;; (It's really good! I was sort of ehhhh on it when I actually watched the first volume, but then I watched the first volume again with the commentary and I'm totally into it. ^^;;;; My brother and I also figured something important out from the commentary which we probably shouldn't have at this point in time. Ehehehehe.) I also got hit on by a super-scary guy who was three times my size AND twice my age and REALLY SCARY! At first I thought he was a Suncoast employee but no, he was just some scary man. >_< Ewwwwww . . . why don't cute boys hit on me? WHY?!!!! Anyways, watched all that. Oh, and read the Animerica Extra and some of my new Animerica that I picked up there too. I realize that I don't really read Animerica that much any more. I mean, I didn't have *time* during the school year so I just bought them and brought them home, and now I just flip through and read whatever I think might be interesting, but I'm not as riveted by it as I used to be. Of course, it's a much better magazine than TokyoPop/Mixxzine (manga-less, that is) was while it was running, seeing as it actually has article CONTENT, but I wish they would go more in-depth with articles and tackle more things. And, of course, cover more info about new and upcoming series and oldies-but-goodies than they do. I feel like I get a taste but the actual meat is missing. >_< Arrrgh!
But then, I wonder how much you can actually write about anime. ^^; I can't talk until I actually write something myself, so never mind me (for now).
What my silly brain tells me Ugh, I want Adobe Premiere! But it costs 9! o_O Oh, the horror . . . the horror! So for now, all these music videos will remain unmade. Alas. Maybe I'll bug some people at club next year? I can be annoying until they cave in and let me use their computers and equipment. But, er, some of them are sort of scary. ^^;;;
Anyone know any other programs I can use on my Mac? Or anyway to convert an iMovie movie into .mpg or .avi format?
What I've been up to Um . . . and writing has trickled to an all time low, but I'll try and get motivated now! Yes, yes! Must write!!!!
Oh yeah, I also watched the rest of Meteor Garden with my mother and we've started watching the live-action Chinese Marmalade Boy (the horror, the horror - they've turned a nice shoujo story into a cheap comedy) which stars the boy who played Soujirou in Meteor Garden (one of the uber-popular F4) as Yuu. o_O And apparently the boy who played Akira is starring in the live-action Peach Girl. And the boy who played Rui is in some other manga-based show I've never heard of . . . >_< It's all very . . . strange.
Another one ^^;
I am taking useless tests . . .
o_O
Not when I just got screamed at for the godawful 8.25 phone bill. No. I refuse. No communication. Plus, charger is still in limbo as I am waiting for it in the mail since I managed to leave it behind, so phone has no power ANYWAY. I have no money. I am poor. My mother doesn't want to have to pay a bill like that and I don't blame her. It's THREE MONTHS allowance, you hear me? THREE MONTHS. I am bloody well getting a job this summer, I am bloody well getting money and paying her back, and I am BLOODY WELL going to save some goddamned cash because this is FUCKING ridiculous. >_<
Eh, and as for the good stuff that happened today . . . I'll talk about it tomorrow as I am no longer in the mood to discuss happy things.
Oh, and Erin, you've read "Summer People" too?! *bounces* I'm very fond of Splinter as a character for some reason. I really ought to re-read it one of these days. Wish he'd continue it. *sigh*
There's only one part right now, but hopefully more soon. *rubs hands together* MWAHAHAHAHAHA!
Okay, I'm done now. ^_^;
Writing and other such things should eventually follow. |
